Recipe Ingredients
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 4 pounds beef chuck, cubed
- olive oil
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup carrots, rough chopped
- 1 cup fresh parsley, minced
- 6 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 4 bay leaves
- 2 cups red or white wine
- 1 cup beef broth
Recipe Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and pepper.
- Place a medium sized skillet on stove and coat with oil. Set to medium to high heat to heat oil.
- Dredge beef in flour mixture, place in skillet and sear on all sides.
- In slow cooker, add meat and all other ingredients and cover.
- Set cooker on Low for 4-6 hours or on High for 2-3 hours.
