This is a simple, satisfying weeknight meal. Great for potlucks. Just replace the hamburger rolls with slider rolls.
  • 3 Lb beef chuck roast
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1-1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • ¼ tsp dried rosemary
  • 8 hamburger buns
  1. Cut chuck roast in half and place in a 3 to 4 quart slow cooker.
  2. Mix together the water, bouillon and spices.
  3. Pour mixture over roast.
  4. Cover and cook on low setting for 6-8 hours.
  5. Remove roast from slow cooker and skim fat off the top of the cooking liquid.
  6. Shred the roast with forks and return to cooking liquid.
  7. With a slotted spoon, put ½ a cup of shredded beef on each bun.
  8. Serve with a side of cooking liquid for dipping.
