This is a go-to meal for busy days. The roast makes its own mushroom gravy which is delicious with mashed potatoes. Add a vegetable and you have a complete meal.
  • 1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix
  • 3-4 pound pot roast
  1. Place roast in a 3 to 5 quart slow cooker
  2. Pour cream of mushroom soup over roast
  3. Sprinkle dry onion soup mix over the soup
  4. Cover and cook on low setting for 8 to 9 hours
